An adult and child reading together in the RSC Nursery Nursery

The Nursery was founded in 1963 when actor David Brierly's wife identified the need for actors spending a season in Stratford–upon–Avon to have family time. The Nursery looks after the children of all RSC employees, from artists to administrators, and provides services to the local community.
